having struggled to get in, am at last in the blog but not at all sure how to use it. However, I am sure we need a forum for discussion of the ways to develop literacies practice and that it needs to have face to face (regional?) aspects as well as online discussion until we all catch up with the basic IT processes and feel comfortable with them.

This blog has been set up to provide a forum for Scottish Adult Literacies practitioners to discuss how to progress the idea of a national association. Please let as many colleagues as you can know of its existence and encourage them to contribute to the debate.

I think people may be having technical difficulties with the blog...I just lost a post somewhere in the ether myself...maybe we need to consider the earlier ideas about how we could create a national online forum that is more accessible. The blog has limits in that full access is only by invitation, as Colin explains in his blog earlier. Maybe a small team of people could consider what we need as an online space. We need someone who has the technical expertise to lead on this? Any offers?
